This most exhilarating experience brings you as close as possible to the friendly dolphins of Koombana Bay in Bunbury. You'll experience swimming with wild bottlenose dolphins in their natural environment. You'll see, hear, and feel the presence of dolphins while they live their natural life in the bay. You'll be accompanied by an experienced guide and trained volunteers. The tour boat can travel for short periods of time only, and stays mainly in the protected Koombana Bay - the home of over 100 dolphins. Depending on dolphin sightings and behaviour, you'll be guided into the water, where the dolphins may elect to initiate interaction with the swimmers. As they are wild animals, it's hard to predict the level of interaction you may encounter, as this is entirely up to the dolphins.Every tour is also a research and conservation trip as staff and volunteers document animal populations, and behaviour. By purchasing the ticket, you also support conservation, education, and research projects.
