Prepare to enjoy the best of the Mason & Bird Heritage Trail and the New Victoria Dam Walk Trail on this 7 km combination hike.From Australia’s oldest wooden bridge, the Munday Brook Bridge, to the first Western Australian dam, you will explore Australia’s pioneer heritage through the Korung National Park.The Mason and Bird Heritage Trail follows the route of a 1870s tramway from Mason Mill to the swan River, which operated in the late 1800s to transport jarrah timber from Mason’s Mills to the Canning River. Enjoy the abundance of valley views, expansive forests of Wandoo and beautiful granite outcrops as you adventure in the Bickley Valley.

Important info
- Distance: 7km. This hike is considered grade Two. It is suitable for most ages, and is recommended for people with some fitness. Trails have rough surfaces, and sections of uneven ground
- This experience is not suitable for children under 4 years of age
- You can choose between a standard ticket or a family ticket (2 adults + 2 children)
- Please remember this is a small-group tour
- Please remember to bring with you hiking shoes or comfortable trainers, water bottle (at least 1L), sun protection and hat, hiking poles if required
