Cruise the tranquil waters of the world's most ancient tropical rainforest on one of our 45-minute cruises on the Barron River in Kuranda. Your local guide shares their knowledge of the area while you discover its unique flora and fauna and history of Kuranda, keeping an eye out for freshwater crocodiles, turtles, fish and bird species. Choose from five daily departure times. Sometimes a cassowary may also be seen on the other side of the river too!
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Service animals allowed. Public transportation options are available nearby. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Subject to favorable weather conditions. In the case of inopportune weather when the Kuranda Riverboat is unable to operate and has to cancel cruises, you can choose between an alternate tour date or a full refund. There are a number of stairs to go down to our jetty on the river and then back up again after the cruise.
