Learn how the town of Alice Springs has evolved into the central hub of the Australian outback. Visit historical sites and some of the essential services delivered from Alice to the community of this vast region. The traditional custodians of the land are the Arrernte people, who refer to Alice as ‘Mpwante’. Visit Alice Springs Reptile Centre, home to the largest reptile display in Central Australia, where you'll have lots of fun, particularly during the show.
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Hotel pick-ups commence prior to the tour start time. You will be collected from the hotel you have selected in the drop down list during the booking process. Your hotel pick-up time will be displayed on your voucher. If you wish to change your pick-up location from the one selected, please call AAT Kings at least 24 hrs prior to travel.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THE DESERT PARK OPTION
If you've chosen to include the Alice Spring Desert Park Option, you will have the morning free to visit the park at your leisure. Pick up will start from 7.05am depending on your hotel. You will explore the park in your own time at leisure. The return transfer to your hotel will leave the Desert Park at 12:00pm. You should then have time to for lunch at your own expense, before you are picked up from your hotel for the ‘A Town like Alice’ Tour.
