On this tour you will see the most striking works of Austrian art in the splendid Belvedere Palace. Interactive activities will turn art viewing into an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
In each section of the collection we will discuss key works, including Messerschmidt's "Character Heads," David's "Napoleon on the Pass of Saint Bernard" and, of course, Klimt's "The Kiss." And with each work, I'll explain how they connect Austria's past and to the present.
And to make our experience more fun, we will make comparisons and experiments. We will look at, touch, and even smell the art. So be prepared to perceive art with all your senses!
At the beginning of our tour, your kids will receive activity books that will help them not only remember what they see, but also teach them the basic principles of understanding art. This is a tour to learn and to have fun for both kids and parents.
