From Mendoza: A Trip Across the Core of the Mountain to Atuel Canyon

The tour departs Mendoza early in the morning. Travel 260 km south to reach the modern city of San Rafael. Located in the middle of an oasis. San Rafael is known for its production of energy, wine, and adventure tourism.

You will visit the island of the Diamante River and the Atuel River Canyon. The Canyon is a geological wonder formed millions of years ago by the strong winds and waters of the Atuel River.

You will also have the opportunity to visit the Valle Grande Dam, the rugged beauty of the mountain will allow you to discover capricious formations on its slopes such as: “El Fantasma”, “El Valle de los Monjes Perdidos”, “Mesa de las Brujas”, among others.
