Escape tourists agencies and get to discover Palermo SOHO from an anthropological point of view. Do not expect to just walk and listen: be prepared to chat, ask questions and discuss about the past, present and future of the "coolest" neighborhood in Buenos Aires.
Beginning at Distrito Arcos and ending in Plaza Serrano, this experience offers you the chance to walk through Palermo SOHO in an attempt to transcend its fancy surface and discover its true core.
What does the train and the tram has to do with the origin of this neighborhood? Who were its first inhabitants? When Palermo became "SOHO" and got filled with tourists, "chic" bars and restaurants? What is Real Estate speculation and why is it related to the Argentine Peso devaluation? What is the deal with the crazy two exchange rates?
These are just some of the many questions we will try to answer in our walk through the most "hip" part of Buenos Aires.
