We are going to visit the coast of Río de la Plata, south of La Plata. This is an exciting region where you can see the original environment of the river coast, before the growth of Buenos Aires. From the city of Magdalena begins the protected area Parque Costero del Sur Biosphere Reserve. In the city of Berisso we will visit the vineyards where the grapes used to make the coastal wine are grown, made from the grape variety, locally known as chinche grape. From colonial times until the 1960s, it was the wine that was consumed in Buenos Aires.
We continue towards the El Destino Natural Reserve, where we will be able to see the coastal jungle of the Río de la Plata and the beaches that are on the banks of the river. In this private field we will be able to walk or go horseback riding, and we will see what the transition from the Pampas grassland is like, passing through the logging mountains, until we reach the river coast where sandy beaches alternate with reeds.
