When we speak about Argentine Wine, most people think of Mendoza and the Andean region. While true, there are also many good vineyards in the province of Buenos Aires, close to the capital.
One of them is Casa Gamboa, a vigorous vineyard situated on the top of an idyllic pampas landscape. Located near the city of Campana, the estate and its vines are surrounded by a hilly humid prairie, with its evergreen side to side and blue sky above.
At Casa Gamboa, we bring you back to the rural roots of Buenos Aires’ countryside. This place evokes memories of late 19th-century Spanish and Italian immigrants who planted the first vines in the region.
We begin with a guided tour of the estate and its wine-making process. You will also taste wine and food pairings, followed by a 4-course lunch based on a sampling gourmet menu, which includes picada (starter), full course, multiple garnishes, and dessert. Wine, coffee, and water are also included.
