The route heads towards Gral. Güemes to take the highway towards Jujuy. Stops are made in Purmamarca, Tilcara and Humahuaca. Points are visited such as the Hill of the Seven Colors, the Church of Purmamarca, the Pucará de Tilcara, La Paleta del Pintor, Uquía, the Monument to the Heroes of Independence and the typical main squares of each town. There are stops in Maimará and the Tropic of Capricorn. After touring Humahuaca, a detour is made to re-enter Salta. You pass through Iturbe and climb the Abra del Cóndor. You begin to climb a path full of curves in an arid desert until you reach 4000 meters. This is the natural limit between the province of Jujuy and Salta where you can appreciate the immensity of the place. From here, a descent of 1220 meters begins in just 19 km. travel. Town of Iruya.
