The purpose of our campaign is to discover one of the most beautiful peaks in the Gegharkunik region - mount Armaghan (2829 m.).
There is a pond of volcanic origin at the top and a Church built on the site of an old chapel. On our way back to the top, we’ll visit the village of Nerkin Getashen to see Kotavank (Kota St Astvatsatsin).
Kot was a town belonging to the princes of Syunik in the middle ages. At the end of the day, we’ll be on the natural bridge of Tsakkar - one of the most beautiful natural monuments of Armenia.
