However, the dune bashing part may not be suitable for very young children (under 3), pregnant women, or people with back/neck problems. They can skip dune bashing and can join other activities at the camp.. Q3: How long does the desert safari last? The total experience lasts approximately 6 to 7 hours, including transfers. Pickup usually starts between 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM and drop-off is around 9:00 PM.. Q4: Where is the safari conducted? The tour takes place in the Lahbab Desert, known for its high red dunes and scenic sunset views — located around 45–60 minutes from central Dubai.. Q5: Is vegetarian food available? Yes! The BBQ buffet dinner offers a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, including grilled vegetables, rice, pasta, salads, and traditional Arabic dishes..
